California Near Space Project (CNSP) launched a Super Pressure Balloon from Silicon Valley California on Monday, August 26, 2019, flight # CNSP-32; call sign KA6TVU-12. This is another one of our SPEED Project missions to push the evolution of efficiency and design. This is a SBS-13 Version 2, Machine Seamed Super Pressure Balloon. We are testing higher levels of free lift on this flight. All design changes have been successful, with a float altitude of 46,300 feet or 14.11 km. This flight is using a LightAPRS tracker with solar power.
