Super Pressure Balloon Flight, August 19, 2019

California Near Space Project (CNSP) launched a Super Pressure Balloon from Silicon Valley California on Monday, August 19, 2019, flight # CNSP-31; call sign KA6TVU-11. This is another one of our  SPEED Project missions to push the evolution of efficiency and design. This is a SBS-13 Version 2, Machine Seamed Super Pressure Balloon. All design changes have been successful, with a float altitude of 45,950 feet or 14 km. This flight is using a LightAPRS tracker with solar power.
